can i use intuits merchant services on my wordpress site?
i am having someone develop a site for my new company and i want to have an ecommerce section. i use quikbooks now and love it and would like to use Intuit’s merchant services for my customer’s shopping cart functions. is this possible in wordpress? if so, any walk-throughs or instructions online?

For any shopping cart service, you will have to buy a domain name, have it hosted at a hosting company compatible to your shopping cart. You can also have wordpress installed on the domain – but you don’t really need to.
Looking at the intuit.com site, they say hosting packages with large companies such as homestead, godaddy, ultracart are all compatible with their payment method. So what you do is get a hosting package with either the Fantastico (Cpanel product) or other MySQL database – install WordPress on the database – hook it up to the shopping cart (make sure you get a SSL), then connect it to your merchant services. Sounds complicated, but not really.

How to Upload Files to WordPress Blog using Download Manager
I’ve been trying to ask for help on the wordpress forums but nobody answers there so i’m asking here for help. My site is http://www.mathtipsandtricks.com and right now it has 2 logins. The top is the wordpress login and the bottom is the facebook connect login box. I would like to have only the bottom but I don’t know how to hide the top. I’ve done it before and I had to reinstall my theme and lost my changes. Please help me I need to fix this asap.
I have 2 sidebar files, sidebar-community.inc.php and sidebar-left.php and its in neither file both are small files. So I still don’t know where to start. I looked for that code everywhere and I couldn’t find it anywhere. My theme is the buddypress theme simple wp community theme. Anyone have any idea?
Go to your Dashboard, go to Appearance, go to Editor. Look in the sidebar.php and see if it has the login form there. If not, try looking at your widgets page and see if you can locate where it’s coming from. It’s probably in your sidebar.php file though.
