Collect, Process and Share Your Online Research with Trailmeme
Social bookmarking sites like Delicious are useful for collecting bookmarks, but they don’t allow users to really draw connections and tell stories. That’s where curation-focused services like Pearltrees and Trailmeme come in. Trailmeme , which we first looked at in December , was incubated at Xerox and launches at DEMO this week. It allows users to bookmark sites and then organize them in tidy …

WordPress Javascript Popup

How can i decorate an images popup title/alt attribute?

Ive seen this on a wordpress template i cant find anymore but their was some javascript that allowed you to css an images alt/title attribute so when the little box pops up, its fits your theme.

Know where i can find some title/alt scripts? maybe something that pops them up faster and stylizes them?

Your best bet is to simply use a hidden

that contains your alt text. This
is then shown when the OnMouseOver event is triggered. You simply need a Javascript function that handles the OnMouseOver event, and takes a string parameter containing what would be your title/alt text. The
can already be formatted, or you can simply set the innerHTML text property with the string passed to the function.

Have you heard of the saying, “There’s more than one way to skin a cat?”

( no offence to cat lovers out there – I love them too ! ).

Well, the same thing is true when it comes to making money on ebay. Let’s start with

what is without doubt the cheapest way to get started.

Before you do anything, go and sign up for a Paypal account at http://www.paypal.com . Ebay own Paypal

and most buyers pay with it. Therefore as a seller, you’ll need to accept payment sent to you

by Paypal or you’ll be missing out on a lot of bidders.

Sell items you already own, that are taking up space. Put them up for sale on ebay. All

you need to do is sign up for an ebay seller account and write an advert for each thing.

Just write a compelling description of the item you are selling, including any faults with

it including the condition. Take some time to choose the appropriate category then list it.

I highly recommend that you get a picture of your item as well. Here’s how to do it: -

Borrow a digital camera or buy one. If you are going to be selling on there more than once,

then buying a digital camera is essential and a low-cost investment ( there are also other

ways of making money with that camera but I’ll leave that for the purpose of another article ).

Obviously borrowing a friends camera has no costs associated with it. Got the camera yet? Great,

now take pictures of each item you are going to sell. Take some time to choose an appropriate

background and reasonable lighting conditions. A picture can sell a product by itself, so

take your time getting this point right. You can find more about selling on ebay at http://www.ebayprofitsunleashed.com

Once you have all your pictures, upload them to your PC using a USB ready cable from your camera

to your PC. Save these pictures to your hard drive and then get to work listing each used item

you are going to sell. Make sure you select the basic gallery listing feature when advertising

your items. It’s a really low cost option that will display a thumbnail picture of your item

in the listings when people are looking through the various categories.

When you are listing your item there will be options to accept check and postal order. My advice

is for you to accept these as methods of payment as well, as the chances of a bounced check are

very low. You can also wait for checks to clear on more expensive items, so this is a no-brainer.

Accept check payments !

I would advise you to put the items on auction with low starting bids but at a bid price that

is acceptable to you. Don’t let your old guitar go for 2 bucks when it’s worth 200. On more expensive

items either start at a higher initial bidding price or set a reserve.
