Does cgi work on windows?
The situtation is that i am creating a new website and wanted to add an autoresponder. The instructions told me to paste the files into a cgi-bin folder that is found in my website directory but there is no cgi-bin inside my directory.
I have contacted the technical personal and their reply is that CGI is only limited to Linux. Is CGI really limited to Linux? If that’s so, does that mean that i need to change my OS to Linux before i can set up an autoresponder for my website?
cgi is pretty much limited to the on-line Linux server setting under Apache.
You see, you are really writing PERL. So what you want to do, is to get a PERL interpreter for your Windows PC to test with.
